Dressings and Toppings are prepared to enhance the flavors, texture, and appearance of your dishes including salads. These amazing dressings make your salads more luscious when tossed in them. You can add cream to this dressing which can do wonders but the mayonnaise alone also plays a fantastic role.
Not only is this dressing super easy to make, it is so full of flavor you only need a simple salad to serve it with. I love it with the crunch of romaine and a few grape tomatoes and red bell pepper for some color.

Friends, Serious Eaters, countrymen, lend me your ears; I come to find the best Caesars, not to praise all of them. The evil that some salad dressings do lives after them; The good is oft interred with a lot of sub-par stuff; So let it be with Caesar salad dressing. The noble bottle labels Hath told you the Caesars within are delicious: And at times, that can be a grievous fault, And grievously hath the worst Caesars answer'd it.Wait, what's that? Caesar dressing has nothing to do with Julius Caesar or Shakespeare? You say it's commonly ascribed to Cesare Cardini, an Italian immigrant who claimed to have invented it in 1920's Tijuana? And that there are others who also took credit for its invention, and no one knows for sure? Hm...I could have sworn it was first described by Apicius around 500 AD...I'm going to go check my copy of De Re Coquinaria. Okay, nope, not in Apicius.
I dont know but Im in love with this particular salad, its the raw egg ingredient that it has in it you can find a recipe to the dressing to make without the egg in it on the web. I try not to eat it so I have cut down a lot since becoming preg. I eat it every now and then when I really miss it.
Ditto mica7797 and Mel316412. I love love love ceasar salad as well. It's the ONLY salad I will eat especially from Red Lobster. As mentioned above its the raw eggs that may be in the dressing that they say we shouldn't eat. Earlier in my pregnancy it did make me feel queesy but I still ate it in moderation. Hopefully I will eat it again soon. Possibly next week for moms Bday.
There is a particular way to put the house salad itself together before you toss in the Caesar salad dressing. You need to add some tomatoes (I prefer small red cherry or grape tomatoes), some thinly sliced green pepper, a few thin slices of cucumbers, a couple of big, juicy, hot green pepperoncini, some thinly sliced red onion, and generous amount of soft Italian cheese added in (whether cubes, grated, or in strings). 2b1af7f3a8
